SilencerScout does not require an account to use this site and does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or payment details through ordinary browsing. This policy describes the limited, non-personal information we do collect, and how cookies are used.

Information We Collect

When you visit SilencerScout, our analytics provider automatically records standard server and browser signals. This information is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. It includes:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring website or search query

• Operating system and device type (desktop, tablet, mobile)
• Approximate geographic region (country or region — not precise location)

We use this data solely to understand how visitors use the site and to improve content and performance. We do not sell, rent, or trade this information to any third party.

If you are located in the EU or EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you additional rights over your data. SilencerScout LLC is the data controller for any data processed in connection with your use of this site.

Lawful basis for processing: Analytics data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — measuring and improving site performance using fully anonymous, aggregated data. Affiliate tracking cookies set by retailers when you click an outbound link are processed under consent (Article 6(1)(a)); you can prevent them by disabling third-party cookies in your browser.

International transfers: Our analytics provider may process data on servers outside the EEA, including in the United States, under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights: Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we collect only anonymous analytics data we may be unable to locate a record tied to a specific individual, but we will respond to all verifiable requests within 30 days.
