Suppressor
The jakl is a forgiving host to suppressors. I have ran anything from full sized high backpressure cans to low backpressure overbred .30 cal cans. The only modification required is a quick twisting of the gas block settings. That said, low backpressure still helps keep a gas cloud from stacking at the chamber. For those who shoot at indoor ranges, consider a reduced backpressure can, otherwise just throw on whatever satisfies you size and sound preferences. If we were to make any recommendation for the gen 1 it is to get a lightweight suppressor, The massive gas block sitting on the government profile barrel with a long stroke piston make the front end of this gun really heavy. **This article only talks about the rifle caliber Jakls**
Muzzle Device
The Jakl keeps it standard with their thread pitches. American standard 1/2x28 for their 5.56 hosts and 5/8x24 for their .30 cal hosts (.300blk, 308). Therefore, your choice of muzzle device should come second to the suppressor you are using.
